Amplifico on the Radio…

If you’ve followed the Tech Podcast for any length of time, then you’ll know about Scotland’s own Amplifico, that’s ahm-pluh-FEE-coh.  Now, you may ask — why does the tech correspondent care so much about a Scottish band?  Well, Amplifico has embraced the web as a way to spread the news about their music, and to raise money to release their album.  They’ve learned alot in the last 2 1/2 years, and now their debut album, See Heart, See Muscle, is finally out, and available.  True to their word, they released it themselves, on their own label. I did a radio piece on them yesterday — that’s here.  It’s hard to smash stuff down into 5 minutes, 20 seconds.  That’s why I’m going to crank out a special, longer podcast.  More on that tomorrow.
